Great pub near England's best view over Wast Water to the fells. The beer was spot on first of all, Dizzy Blonde a Robinsons beer and a pint of Hartleys. My partner had the Cumberland sausage which was spicy and tasty. I had the Scafell Burger which was well presented in a ciabatta with a well dressed salad and chips. Service was friendly. Would return if in the area!

for such a beautiful and isolated part of the world it was a result that the Screes Inn had wifi. really enjoyed my simple lunch of a Prawn baguette. what made it special was the warm fresh bread!|have eaten here before after bagging Scafell Pike and very enjoyed enjoyed my hearty feast on that day!
