About Sea Garden and Grill

Sea Garden and Grill is a modern seafood restaurant serving family-style sharing plates. Fresh seafood is delivered daily and the kitchen team have developed innovative recipes, influenced by Portuguese and South African flavours, for the regularly changing menu. The restaurant is situated right in the heart of Tooting’s buzzy Broadway Market and has both inside and outside seating and a chef’s table. Cocktails are a speciality too and at weekends you can try their Bottomless Spicy Prawns and Spiced Pineapple Margaritas special deal.

The food was decent, but the overall experience was disappointing. The waitress seemed inattentive, and we often felt ignored. The waiting time was also quite long, which made things worse. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return.

We went for the bottomless brunch. We had a wonderful time. Our waitress was really attentive and kept topping up our drinks. The portion sizes were very generous and the staff prawns were delicious. The kitchen staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

Not a great experience at all. The service was very poor. The waitress was unattentive and never asked how our food was. We ordered the sirloin surf and turf. The prawns were okay but the steak was absolutely atrocious. We asked for medium and received well done. Our second offering were thin cuts of steak, unseasoned and both times, the steak was barely warm. We ordered chips that never came. It is unfortunate, because we went here on recommendation. Definitely would not return and would not recommend this place.

I went with my sister for the thursday night deal and the food is so delicious. We ordered a side of sourdough bread and beef dripping chips and they were both so tasty. The servers were nice and friendly and were very attentive, we were served by Fakhir and he was extremely helpful, checking up on us. Definitely would go again!

Second time eating here, came for the 2 for 1 steak & lobster. The prawns, lobster, calamari, mac & cheese & crispy onions were as delicious as before but sadly the steak wasn't as good as we expected, a little tough & with quite a bit of sinew. Maybe we were just unlucky but we'll definitely come back as everything else was so good.

This was my second visit to Sea Garden and Grill and again they did not disappoint. Both our servers were amazing, friendly and kind. We were a table off 4 for a birthday brunch and not once were our glasses empty. Gustina was attentive and made sure we were all well looked after and my friend really enjoyed her birthday.

This was by far the best bottomless brunch weve ever been too. The food is off the scale delicious, very generous with both food and cocktails, our glass was never running low and the food just kept coming, all of it really stunning and tasted amazing. Great staff, a really fantastic experience

We had a wonderful time at the Sea Garden Grill in the Broadway market, Tooting Broadway last night. There were 4 of us, we had very tasty oysters to start followed by two of the most divine and tasty seafood boil. The rich, creamy sauce was to die for and it was filled with prawns, mussels, scallops, a couple of meaty lobster tails, corn on the cob, potatoes and more! Super delicious! We had white wine and spicy margaritas! And we were all very happy overall! Great food and service!
