About Sefton Park Hotel

Occupying a handsome Victorian villa on the edge of Liverpool’s 200-acre Sefton Park, the Sefton Park Hotel is an oasis of calm in the midst of the city. Once a family home, it’s been lovingly restored and boasts 16 individually styled rooms, a snug bar, a handsome garden and an elegant and light-filled lounge where indulgent Afternoon Teas and their much-loved Sunday Lunch are served. The hotel is also a popular events venue for all kinds of gatherings and celebrations. Stuart Sutcliffe, the Beatles’ original bass player, once lived here too, a connection echoed in the hotel’s quietly curated musical theme.

A review for a well-enjoyed Sunday Roast. 2 courses under £25 and made gluten and dairy free to cater to my allergies. Music to my ears. Most of their menu is naturally gluten free, and they will happily cater to your extra needs. The hotel itself is so homely; as soon as you walk through the door, you’re greeted by the lovely staff. We had a workshop on in their function room downstairs and then were seated to our roast. I had the soup of the day: tomato and roast pepper with gluten free toast, drizzled with olive oil. It was delicious, the soup was piping hot and tasted like a homemade pasta sauce. Then I had their roast beef cooked medium, with potatoes, veg, and gravy, plus an extra gravy boat to share. Very generous. Their desserts looked mouthwatering. Unfortunately, they were out of vegan ice cream, but I was satisfied from the starter and main course. The staff are lovely, friendly and attentive, and the food was Michelin-star-like. I’ll definitely be returning.

We came yesterday as part of a group for a roast , it was amazing !!! Beef cooked to perfection, gorgeous roast potatoes and tasty veg, the extra gravy was a lovely touch, the service was out standing, the young man who served our group was professional, great knowledge of allergy information and was brilliant with our group, I’m sorry I didn’t get his name I also came the week before with my family and again, wonderful food & service - thank you
