AA-rosetted traditional country pub in Sibton Village, Suffolk, dating back to the 16th century.

About Sibton White Horse Inn

In the tranquil and quiet village of Sibton, just off the beaten track, Neil and Gill Mason bring you Sibton White Horse Inn; a traditional country pub boasting original Tudor features and a host of different awards including an AA rosette. Adjacent to the pub, visitors can stay in the 4-star silver rated conversion, choosing from six quietly situated and self-contained rooms. Serving dinner seven nights a week and a lunch menu from Wednesday to Sunday, diners are invited to relax in the authentic and homely pub that sets itself apart from a typical gastropub with low-beamed ceilings, mighty ship timbers and inglenooks, giving a nod to the years gone by and representing all that one might expect from an authentic and traditional British free house. Among its many accolades, Sibton White Horse have been awarded the title of “Suffolk's Best Dining Pub,” in 2008, 2009 and 2011, “Friendliest Place to Stay in the East of England,” in 2011 and more recently “Good Pub Guide County Dining Pub of the Year” in 2012 and again in 2015. For visitors that are not looking to eat, there is a range of real ales and fine wines on offer that can be enjoyed in the bar, the elegantly raised gallery or if the weather is suitable, outside in the hidden courtyard. With daily blackboard specials, seasonal menus and traditional Sunday roasts, visitors will not be stuck for choice, and can be safe in the knowledge that all food served has been made in-house from the finest and freshest ingredients, including the bread and the ice cream.
