This is excellent quality, real food and the mezes particularly are a very good range of delicious, subtle flavours. The owner, Theresa, combines a warm welcome with an efficient and professional service. We have found that everybody we have brought here from teenagers to octogenarians have enjoyed the food, the music, the relaxed atmosphere and the stunning toilets!

The Silk Road Restaurant is the place to go. I have visited many restaurants in my life but there is not one that is like this very special place. From the moment you walk through the door the party starts. The place exudes an atmosphere that I have never experienced before. The food is superb but more importantly it is party time all the time. The owner makes you feel as it you have been invited into her home and when the music starts and the staff join in the dancing then you just have to know that you are in a place that has no equal anywhere else. Words will not do this special place justice so read no further, book yourself a table and have a great evening out.

If you haven't eaten at Silk Road yet then you must.. As a regular I've introduced lots of friends and they've all come away hugely satisfied. The food is excellent and great value for money and the ambience is always great. Try to book a table for their fantastic Jazz night and treat yourself-you can always join in with their fabulous belly dancer at weekends if your feeling brave!!!

What an amazing place - the decor takes your breath away and the atmosphere is just like being on holiday. Check out their website for their list of events - we saw a fab jazz band and danced off all our calories!
