Ive eaten from simla many times sit in and take away, The meals have been very good on every occasion they will change meal choices to suit you. The staff are very good and they will get you a cheap taxi home.
Definitely worth a visit.

Well the food was really good, the service was terrific and the staff are just so friendly.
Couldn't believe the size of the portions and the flavors ...well you have just got to try it when your in Newcastle for the evening

Always a warm welcome from Mr Ali and the staff ,the portions are large and the quality is just superb, and where else can you get quality food into the early hours. A must if your in the city for a night out.
Gunnerlad
Very good fresh food. Lovely quite place away from the stag/hen crowd and minus the stadium level music of most surrounding bistros etc. Good value £10.95 limited menu. Recommended.
The Wardster
Absolutely cracking Indians - will cook anything you want. Ali, the owner, is a smashing lad.
Mazza

I really would NOT recommend this place!!!! Bad service and very bad food!!

I have to disagree - it was simply a place full of very drunk people and the staff were very rude - the food was not Indian food - it was cooked badly and fried in old oil. Not at all what I would call an Indian restaurant.
