good food and good service. I will be there again.
Important is good budget.

Oooh, what a quirky little place - lovely staff, weird Korean (possibly) telly progs on, old crockery and solid wooden benches and tables to sit at - but quite authentic food, nicely prepared and tasty!

i first discovered this restaurant 2 years ago and it is now one of my favourite places to go to eat in Preston. the food is always delicious and I have never had a bad meal. It has a relaxed atmosphere and is such good value for money.

we went there on a very cold and wet 4th oct. they had prepared by ensuring there were heaters all around the place. we ordered the house rose which was really pleasant. starters were from the set menu, we chose oriental and vegi. both dishes were really tasty with a variety of flavours. i had Vietnamese beef and my child-bride had a Singapore vermicelli, which was fab. the best of it was that she could have rice noodles, as she has a wheat intolerance.
desert was a homemade mango yogurt cheesecake, mmmmm
would we go again, damn right
Lou
loved my Vietnamese beef noodles!
So Satisfied
It's great that Preston has an excellent noodle restaurant in So Noodle Bar. The place is authentic and serves great food from all over the orient. I had the So Special Udon Noodle Soup. It was served in a big bowl with thick Japanese noodles, beef, chicken, pork and mixed. Very filling, tasty and fresh. I will return!

This place knocks spots off any oriental food I have ever had in Preston.
To call it a noodle bar and to rank it as Japanese (as sugarvine does)seems to limit the audience which is such a shame.
The menu is made up of starters, which are varied and freshly prepared. The main courses are broken down in to four types of noodle dishes with various additions, there are Thai, Chinese and Japanese influences to the ingredients.
The clean lines and music tv could be cold and faceless but the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
All in all I would recommend this for a group of friends or a fun meal for two. The prices are so reasonable too - two starters, two mains and two bottles of beer was just £30!!!
