Souvla is a Greek and Mediterranean grillhouse restaurant with two Liverpool venues – in the city centre on Hardman Street and on Allerton Road in Mossley Hill. It’s the place to go if you’re looking for gyros, souvlaki, Schnitzel, Swedish meatballs or Seafood. And for vegetarians, there is a range of meat-free Mediterranean dishes too. Lovely friendly service but very quiet on the evening we ate there. The fun was created by the other two customers and the waitress! The food was good (great houmous and excellent chocolate dessert although the lamb souvlaki was a little chewy) but a little disappointing that the wine didn't come from Greece.

The food was superb and the staff really attentive and professional. They were very busy when we visited on Saturday but all the staff were very efficient and friendly. We had a great time there and are glad we found this great restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Delicious food and great value for money. My sister and I enjoyed the early bird menu. I had fried mushrooms, it was a huge portion, my sister had cheesy garlic bread. We then had chicken gyros loaded fries. It was delicious, very filling, again too much to eat. We were then given a complimentary dessert, we were too stuffed to eat it. Excellent service, very friendly staff, great atmosphere and excellent value for money.
