About Spoon World Buffet and Bar

Spoon World Buffet and Bar first opened in Chatham in 2012 and now has branches in Ipswich, Basildon and Portsmouth. Each follows the same successful formula of providing diners with a huge choice of dishes and cuisines from around the world at one fixed price. You will not go hungry at Spoon! There’s a choice of Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Italian, Carvery and Kebab as well as a selection of Desserts. And live cooking stations include Teppanyaki, Pizza, Pancakes and Roasts. Spoon is fully licensed and is open from 5pm weekdays and 12 noon at weekends.

Food was great considering it's a buffet. Some guy was urinating with the door open in the toilet and staff member did nothing about it when I told him. Glad I don't have kids to see that.

The food was lovely fresh and tasty but the restaurant shuts too early for people that have to go after work so felt a bit rushed to eat but the food and service was excellent .and they don't take blue light card at weekend

Excellent restaurant- always our first choice of restaurant. Friendly staff, very clean restaurant and an incredible range of food choices. The food is always really good quality and there are a number of things they cook fresh for you while you wait.

We absolutely loved it yesterday the food was amazing the atmosphere was great the service was amazing and the lovely woman who got us in was great too helped us with one of my friends who has nuts allergies I think the money side is great too

The food was delicious and the desert especially! So clean and respectful staff

Was disappointed with the food it was warm at best but most of the pasta dishes was cold so my children would not touch it The staff were interesting ( in a weird way) they was really obsessed with my baby touching her next and stroking her face and made my older daughter feel invisible even when she tried to talk to the staff
