About Spoon World Buffet and Bar

Spoon World Buffet and Bar first opened in Chatham in 2012 and now has branches in Ipswich, Basildon and Portsmouth. Each follows the same successful formula of providing diners with a huge choice of dishes and cuisines from around the world at one fixed price. You will not go hungry at Spoon! There’s a choice of Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Italian, Carvery and Kebab as well as a selection of Desserts. And live cooking stations include Teppanyaki, Pizza, Pancakes and Roasts. Spoon is fully licensed and is open from 5pm weekdays and 12 noon at weekends.

Great selection my 4th time here. Spoiled by screaming children on several tables. Maybe consider an adult only area.

First time visit, shown to table, however was not given any direction as to how it all worked, thankfully guests on next table gave us direction. Food for a buffet style was decent. Sticky floors, rocking table and I had a dirty fork. Would i recommend to friends, no. Would I visit again, no.

Food excellent, but the staff there! First again they charged my 10 years old full price. Second we had couple beers celebrating bday and for once i used the beer glass to have a little coke after meal as the Kronenburg beer was total flat. Absolute waste of money The old chinese lady came up to me said how dare i am drinking the coke and took the glass of me like i done some crime telling me if i want coke i need to go buy another fresh glass. Its a syrup water and all the hassle alson made me feel like an criminal. Terrible appaling customer service

We had a good time we were 10 in number all all were happy; the kids enjoyed and had fun it was my Son's birthday and he really enjoyed. The staff were supportive this time not in a rush to kick us out. I would want you to improve on the Toilet.

We had a fab time on our first visit, and the food was good, it is such a shame that you have to pack everyone in like Sardines. There was no room to move once all the tables around us were occupied. Being on the slightly larger side it was quite embarrassing having to squeeze through or asking the other tables to move their chairs in. Our table next to us were slim and they still had to squeeze through. I know its all about profit and getting as many customers in as you can, but please think of the customers you have in the restaurant, we don't want to be on top of each other.

A perfect place to have dinner with old friends. No expensive, a big variety of world cuisine including deserts. A place where i will come back with pleasure!!
