About Spoon World Buffet and Bar

Spoon World Buffet and Bar first opened in Chatham in 2012 and now has branches in Ipswich, Basildon and Portsmouth, housed within the Cascades Shopping Centre. Each follows the same successful formula of providing diners with a huge choice of dishes and cuisines from around the world at one fixed price. You will not go hungry at Spoon! There’s a choice of Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Italian, Carvery and Kebab as well as a selection of Desserts. And live cooking stations include Teppanyaki, Pizza, Pancakes and Roasts. Spoon is fully licensed and is open from 5pm weekdays and 12 noon at weekends.

So we visited and the four of us was amazed by how attentive and kind the staff and ling was, really made us feel apart of the family will be coming back again as you all made it fantastic especially making my son happy!

Had my graduation meal there, I was able to reserve and make changes on time. They were accommodating. Many selection of foods to choose from.

Went for the 2nd time. It was more expensive than the website prices. Yes we looked at the correct day. Great selection and the majority of it was actually boiling hot. Disappointed in the roast section and Italian section. The spaghetti Bolognese was swimming in water. Only 2 pizza choices. Other than that it was great.

After many years of decline we took our son for his 6th birthday and it was our worst ever experience here. The food was shocking very bland, the service was even worse, unfortunately this will be our last visit to Spoons as the value for money and experience now is so much worse than many other places.

Food was very greasy and some foods were over cooked and soggy. Children under 12 should be child’s price my son is 10 and charged adults price because he 2cms too tall . Would not recommend
