The children were very happy in the garden play area, and I must say a special thanks to 'dave' the manager and all his staff who made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely return soon.

I went to the Star Inn last night for the first time with elderly and a pit 'picky' mother, it was excellent. We both came away beyond full, the portions were huge and my steak was cooked to perfection. We had intended having a dessert from the fabulous list but there was no room left for air let alone a pudding. Highly recommended by both mother and daughter!

We had a quiet evening meal in February which was superb. Portions were huge, and the staff were eager to please. Restaurant was spacious and spotlessly clean. We can't wait to go back and sample more off the menu, but apparently very very busy in summer due to campsite adjacent
