Now located within The White Hart Inn, Suree’s Kitchen enjoys a charming riverside setting just moments from the River Severn. Chef Suree’s fresh, authentic flavours have earned her a loyal following and a string of accolades, including Shropshire Curry Chef of the Year and, most recently, Midlands Chef of the Year 2026. Recognised as a ‘Hidden Gem’ by The Good Food Guide, Suree’s is known for freshly prepared dishes inspired by Thai family recipes, homemade sauces, carefully balanced spices and a warm, personal style of hospitality. It’s open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings serving traditional Thai cuisine with a British twist, showcasing Shropshire ingredients. Suree’s also offers a popular Thai Tapas-style lunch menu on Fridays and Saturdays, giving diners the chance to enjoy a lighter, street-food inspired taste of Thailand during the day. The restaurant is air conditioned - also during summer months a selection of outdoor tables are available for those booked inside the restaurant on a daily allocation by request, to enjoy dining in the courtyard. Occasional Thai cookery masterclasses are also held on selected Saturdays. And for those wishing to stay over, The White Hart Inn offers five recently updated cosy en-suite bedrooms, making it an ideal base for a food-led visit to Ironbridge.

We chose Suree's Kitchen for 55th Wedding Anniversary meal. It was our forst visit. What a treat it was. A wonderful dining experience. Delicious food and really helpful advice from the team. We rebooked straight away.

This is the first visit to Suree’s, the last one was back in the day in Broseley. Welcome at the While Hart was warm and inviting, some minor errors by waiting staff. We were a party of three seated by waiter at a table laid for four then second waiter asked if we were waiting for our missing companion. We all enjoyed our meals and understand everything is cooked fresh but a 35-45 minute wait between starter and main is a little too long. Overall good will come back in the future.

The new setting at the White Hart is welcoming and contemporary. Lovely welcome when we arrived and good menu selection with extra choice from the Specials board. Unfortunately the food wasn’t up to the usual standard. We ordered the sharing starter (£22 for 2 people, which we’ve had on previous occasions) for 4 people to share @ £44. It was not double the amount, as we were expecting. Disappointing and expensive for what we had. The prawn toast was hard and over done and, greasy/oily. The chicken in the Chicken Red Thai curry was rather tough and chewy. Service, although very pleasant and attentive, was rather slow. I‘m extremely sorry to give the above feedback as Suree is such a lovely lady. We‘ve previously always been over joyed with the quality of her food, especially the freshness.

Best Thai meal we’ve ever had, absolutely loved it. All three courses were amazing and service too, would highly recommend!
