First time visit after eating downstairs in the White Swan. In one. EXCELLENT !!
The restaurant is small with 10 tables, seating about 30 and very 'classy'.
The meal was, starters , main course & desert, superb. The only 'complaint' was that there was TOO MUCH. The price, for 4 at a set 3 course meal, was well worth it, at £84+, (not including drinks). Imaging dining out at Gordon Ramsays without the cost, and with a very personal touch. Definitely going there again!!

I am a hard to please person when it comes to eating out. I expect to get the very best. I have worked in restaurants and have always done my best. So when i say this place is fantastic I actually mean it. The staff are great the food wonderful. My husband, friends and I will be regulars in this place. I would recommend it to everyone.
Please expect a little bit of a wait it is a very busy place, but rest assured very well worth the wait.

W were extremely impressed by this restaurant, having eaten downstairs before was memorable, however this place is fantastic. The choice of food was second to none, the staff, all of them were very friendly. We were so impressed we are trying to book a very important celebration meal there. Certainly worth a visit.

I have been visiting the cygnet restaurant for some years now, last Saturday we visited once more and the food was out of this world the tiger prawn starter is the one of the best the sauce is yummy. I had fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection. The staff are great and it is a romantic place to eat with candlelight and soft music. I will always return here, it is very different to the screaming mobs downstairs but the food downstairs is also amazing - everyone should go and try this food at least once.

I have visited this restaurant on many occasions. I find it easier to start looking at the menu a few days before, as it is so big. The portions are huge, make sure your hungry. Try to visit early teatime to get a table, as you do have to wait a long time for a table during busy periods. On my last visit the staff were great especially the guy who looked like Shane from Westlife. Excellent place to eat, would recommend it to anyone.
Cygnet Restaurant
The menu here is one of the best I've seen - there's plenty of choice and when it arrives it's delicious. Particularly good value for money considering the enormous portions you get - just be warned it can take a while to get seated!

We went for family occasion for Sunday lunch. Very busy and because of this had to wait ages for table then far too long between courses. Waitress a bit off as well, should have been better, would go again because it? a nice ambience.
