after searching for a very long time for somewhere to take my fiance and 5 month old daughter for Sunday lunch we finally found the swan inn in sidmouth, when we went in after about 5 minutes i was approached by a member of staff and told that i would have to leave straight away as my daughter was not over 14 and also that they had stopped serving food!! even though there were people just being given there food! i WILL NOT be returning here as the staff were rude, the place is NOT CHILD FRIENDLY and they stopped serving at 2pm "apparently"!!

Visited twice on a recent visit to Sidmouth, once for a drink and the experience was so pleasant we ate there the following evening. Very much a locals pub but you are immediately welcomed and included (if you wish) in the banter, good wholesome food and large portions, wish I lived nearby, it would be my local.
