About Tabby Teas

Tabby Teas is Sheffield’s first cat café. It’s staffed by a team of 10 or so rescue cats – along with one or two humans – and the aim is to provide a relaxing and calming environment for both customers and cats to enjoy each other's company. Tabby Teas is open every day except Monday and Thursday from 10.30am to 6.30pm and you can pre-book for an hour session (except for moggy siesta time between 2pm and 3pm). There’s a selection of teas, coffees and cakes on the menu and whether you’re coming with a group of friends, or venturing by yourself for some kitty cuddles, you’ll have a purr-fect time.

Went to tabby teas on a day trip to Sheffield. The atmosphere was incredibly calm, the food and drinks were delicious and the cats were adorable. We got to feed the cats some chicken and later played with them and a bouncy ball. You can tell the cats feel relaxed and respected there, which makes the experience more wholesome. Definitely a great place for cat lovers, the cats will come and wander as they please, so it’s extra delightful when they choose you.

Tabby teas is a great place for cat lovers The staff are lovely and very friendly. The cats are so cute and lovely. Nice food too . Will be booking again.

I think the idea is good but I don’t think it’s working. Unfortunately cats aren’t the most sociable animals and because they live there and they have so many people visiting constantly they don’t fancy playing or being around people much at all which is understandable. Pestering them isn’t really a thing I want to do and although you don’t promote that at all and you have house rules I feel like they didn’t really enjoy having so many people there at the same time. I feel like maybe having a rotation of cats would help as they don’t burn out by having so much activity around them on a daily basis.

Love Tabby Teas so much! I have been here a number of times because of how amazing it is. I went last week and Rachel was lovely. She went above and beyond whilst I was there which was great because I went alone and she made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be returning and I will constantly recommend Tabby Teas to everyone.
