About Tanvi’s Indian Cuisine

Tanvi’s (formerly Amaia) is a fine-dining Indian restaurant on Northgate in the heart of Wakefield. It’s a beautifully appointed venue serving a wide range of traditional and modern dishes prepared by the experienced kitchen team. Choose from a delicious selection of Indian vegetarian, chicken, meat and seafood delicacies and a full takeaway and delivery service is also available. Tanvi’s is open for lunch and dinner, Tuesday to Sunday. And after a recent renovation there is also a smart new private dining room that can accommodate up to 22 people.

Food was amazing, loots of different flavours in one dish . Not overloaded menu , which i like, was easy for us too choose what to eat. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to next visit. One odbije staff members tall is throw how some of the dishes are made, was very good experience.

The food was amazing,first time to this restaurant and would definitely go back. Staff very friendly and welcoming.£70 for 2 people with starters,main and 2 drinks each,pleased with that. Restaurant very nicely set out and spacious.

We had a lovely family meal here on New Year’s Day. Food was plentiful and delicious. Staff were attentive and efficient without being overwhelming. It was our second visit and I recommend a visit to see if it suits you too.

Came here for Christmas dinner and nicest experience we’ve had and we go out every year and will definitely be back next year. The food was amazing and portion sizes big. The staff was great and made the day special.

What an amazing Christmas meal we had. The food is delicious, The staff and management are so friendly and efficient. Our waitress Maddie was wonderful. We would highly recommend a visit. It may be your first but I guarantee it won’t be your last.
