About Tapios
Tapios opened in spring 2017 bringing authentic Spanish tapas to Windermere. The lunchtime menu, available from 12pm to 3pm, offers a selection of sandwiches, salads and dips. Then for the rest of the day, and through until 11pm, you can choose from a range of tapas dishes, meat or vegetarian meze plates for two and chalkboard specials prepared by Valencian chefs. There are 30 dishes to choose from on the main menu with all the classic tapas you would expect like albondigas, croquetas, patatas bravas, gambas and calamari. And you can wash it all down with a jug of Sangria. Tapios is open every day except Mondays. On Tuesday there is a special deal for paella and a beer for just £9.50 and at weekends Tapios morphs into a buzzy cocktail bar as the evening progresses.
