Only stopped for a drink at lunchtime but what a lovely spot it is in a quiet little valley by the river. They also do food and rooms and I would say if you want to get away from it all in Exmoor, you wouldn’t go far wrong here.

It might be in the middle of nowhere, but I would travel even further to sample the excellent food served here, game and fish are as fresh, and as succulent as they can get and all perfectly cooked and in great surroundings
