Opposite Blackpool's Halfway House pub and ideally located if you are visiting Blackpool, particularly for the Illuminations, Taylors is one of only a handful of Lancashire chippies to have received the coveted Seafish Fryers Quality Award and was voted best Blackpool chip shop by readers of the Evening Gazette. Ronnie & Tina Ashworth took over the business in 2007 and quickly brought their expertise to bear with the takeaway's sparkling cleanliness and hygiene contributing to its success. In June 2011, a new restaurant area was added with room for 22 diners inside and another 16 outside. It's a smart addition with wooden floors, a coffee-and-cream colour scheme and nice touches like magazines and fresh flowers. The restaurant is unlicensed but there are various teas, filter coffee and soft drinks. Kids' meals are also served with toys and high chairs available. Open Monday to Saturday at lunch and dinner.
Coach parties during the illuminations are welcome, Taylors is also a pet friendly restaurant established for 10 years!
