About The Aycorn Shoppe

The Aycorn Shoppe is a South African Wine Bar set in and amongst a plant and décor design shop in Old Coulsdon. It brings a unique and quirky retail experience to the public, allowing guests to socialise within a tropical-themed environment. Open from 9am to 9pm, it‘s a café-cum-coffee shop in the morning, then serves lunch and a short dinner service from 6pm to 9pm. The bar serves only South African wines chosen by the owners and tweaked throughout the year. There is also a unique coffee blend roasted specially for the shop and light lunches and charcuterie boards are served in the afternoon and evening consisting of cheese, meats, veg options, mini pastries, dips and breads.

Astara Ariel

Wonderful place of verdant green foilage as you step through the door...Beautiful plants for sale and unusual gifts. With a great wine bar specialising in South African wines, I sampled a couple of them...very good indeed. I had the signature board of hams and cheese...yum. Extremely friendly staff very warm and welcoming. Will return to sample more delicious wines and food.
