This is truly a hidden gem!! if this place was in the City Centre you would be paying twice the price. The food is excellent and the menu always changing so regulars never get bored. Every time I go its like the first time in relation to the whole experience. All the staff are friendly but professional and have the intuition to know when you need something (spooky skills!!). If you haven't been then you are missing out - try it and you will go back again and again. Well done all of you at the Basin - it is great to have an outstanding place on your doorstep.

It was the first time i had dined at the basin with to of my work colleges on a Tuesday night and we loved every part of it . The food was excellent and the service was at a high standard which everyone was impressed with. Both young members of staff were so helpful and provided an excellent standard of service considering, both male and female were only young both late teens but could not fault them once. Me and my colleges will be returning when we fly back into Manchester . Thankyou The Basin 5 star .

We have eaten at the Basin on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent and the staff look after you incredibly well. We therefore, decided to hold our silver wedding celebration there last Saturday. The manager helped us to organise it and was able to offer some good ideas to ensure that the night went well. The reaction of our guests was fantastic. They loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing, even though the restaurant was catering for a large group of people.We can honestly highly recommend the Basin and would definitely use it for future celebrations.

Quite simply the best restaurant in the area. Five star food at three star prices in a friendly family run environment. Whether its business, pleasure or just a night out, you just can't do better. The menu is changed on a monthly basis and all the food is sourced locally. I tell everyone I know just how good it is and I even have clients who visit Manchester and insist on going there. Brilliant!

Having lived in Worsley for 18 years and having visited all the restaurants that the area has to offer The Basin is definitely our favourite! The staff are very friendly and the service is great but the food is exceptional! We've never been disappointed. It is a pleasure to have such a great place right around the corner.

I moved to Tyldesley over a year ago and love having The Basin up the road. The food and service are amazing and good selection of drinks. I love the Sunday lunches aswell as the usual menu. We have taken family and friends for special occasions and they are always impressed.
