About The Bricklayers

The Bricklayers is a pub and restaurant at the heart of the community in the Leicestershire village of Sharnford, four miles to the east of Hinckley. It’s a blend of the modern and traditional with a smart restaurant area, an oak-framed garden room and a popular beer garden. The Signature menu is available Tuesday to Saturday and there’s also a Sunday Lunch menu, a Children’s menu and Weekly Specials. The Bricklayers also has a busy events schedule including regular music nights, Sunday Night Bingo and a monthly Biker Night.

Travelled a hour to meet friends for lunch. Well worth the trip. Lovely friendly staff & excellent food, had a nice buzzy atmosphere even on a Saturday lunchtime! Even the dog enjoyed it!! And best of all really fair prices! Well done Bricklayers Team - hopefully will be back soon.

Visited yesterday for the first time for Sunday lunch. The venue was very high standard and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was superb and plenty of it with extra gravy as standard. Will certainly be booking again and will look forward to trying the other menu's excellent experience and would highly recommend to family and friends

We really enjoyed our lasagne, very tasty and filling. My husband had the honeycomb cheesecake, very nice too. This was our first time eating at the Bricklayers, we will definitely be back . The staff were very friendly and attentive. Compliments to the chef too.

We have been a few times on a Sunday and never had anything but great,friendly service and lovely food This visit we brought some friends who came up from London for the weekend They loved the pub and said the food was amazing We will bring them back again very soon Thank you

Good place to meet family and friends for a lovely Sunday roast. Food generally excellent except for the broccoli and Stilton soup starter being over seasoned with pepper (hard to detect much taste of broccoli or Stilton over the pepper). Sunday roast perfect. The service staff were very friendly and helpful, although we did have to wait a little too long between courses (noticed that other tables who arrived after us received their food before us) On the whole a very pleasant experience, and we will be back, but hopefully our comments will help to make our next booking even better.

Had an absolutely delicious Sunday lunch at the Bricklayers. Proper home cooked food. Huge portions - definitely no skimping on meat. The cauliflower cheese was amazing. Service was extremely quick - our lunches came out within 15 mins and were piping hot. What I especially loved there was plenty of gravy (I like a bit of dinner with my gravy) plus they bring out a little jug of extra as standard. One of the best Sunday lunches I have had in a long while - we will m.ost certainly be returning
