About The Bricklayers

The Bricklayers is a pub and restaurant at the heart of the community in the Leicestershire village of Sharnford, four miles to the east of Hinckley. It’s a blend of the modern and traditional with a smart restaurant area, an oak-framed garden room and a popular beer garden. The Signature menu is available Tuesday to Saturday and there’s also a Sunday Lunch menu, a Children’s menu and Weekly Specials. The Bricklayers also has a busy events schedule including regular music nights, Sunday Night Bingo and a monthly Biker Night.

We had a problem last Saturday with our order being misplaced so didn’t receive starters for almost an hour - so not happy diners . However , we were very impressed by the way in which the mistake was honestly admitted and every attempt was made to serve us quickly also bill adjusted . I should also say the staff were polite , cheerful and knowledgeable . Certainly won’t put us off from yet another visit .

The meal was lovely and tasty. We weren’t asked how we would like the lamb chops cooked and I would have preferred them cooked a little more. I don’t mind pink meat, it’s more about the fat being browned and crispier.
