The Cedars is housed in a characterful listed Georgian building in the Leicester suburb of Evington. The older part of the property houses a Lounge Bar with leather sofas which is a great place to relax before or after your meal whilst the main bar-restaurant boasts panoramic windows overlooking a fish pond, fountain and waterfall surrounded by gardens. The varied and extensive menu has more than 70 dishes to choose from, including plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices, as well as a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. The Cedars is open seven days a week right through from 11.30am to 11pm with space for up to 100 diners. Don’t miss their ‘World Famous Special’ – two 10-ounce rump steaks and any bottle of wine from £18.99.
