Had a lovely meal, food was top and staff were very friendly, highly recommended ,

Seriously low quality compared to other offerings in Sittingbourne. Staff appear over-worked and the manager has an attitude problem. Will not go there again until I see an "under new management" sign flying!

An elderly relative held her Group's Annual Christmas Dinner at the Cherry Tree. They booked a table WITH Table Service on the LOWER level of the restaurant. They are elderly and many use sticks to get around. Climbing stairs is a chore. They GOT - a table crammed into the top area. - NO table Service - it had to be a CARVERY even though the elderly people had extra problems due to being crammed too close to the wall, as well as mobility difficulties. - INSUFFICIENT food. - WATERY vegetables. - COLD food ~ possibly as a result of taking so long to climb the steps? They COMPLAINED ~ wouldn't YOU? Management were very compassionate! THEY BANNED THE OLD PEOPLE FROM EVER ATTENDING THE RESTAURANT AGAIN! Not, of course, that any of them will want to and neither will any of their families nor their friends nor the friends families and their friends. Of course, they do have a talking point for months possibly years to come. Happy Christmas, Cherry Tree!
