The Cheshire Yeoman is a popular gastropub in Little Sutton, close to Elllesmere Port and convenient if you’re shopping at nearby Cheshire Oaks. The pub has a great reputation for its food and is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week serving right through the day at weekends. And there’s so much choice. The main menu offers a selection of nibbles and then starters ranging from Thai crab cakes to a Black pudding stack. For mains, there’s steaks and burgers from the grill, a ‘bistro menu’ with a dozen main courses all priced at £8.95 and then a further selection of main courses including dishes like Slow-cooked lamb shoulder, Seared duck breast (served pink), Pan-fried sea bass fillets and Rustic fish pie. Mouthwatering desserts include Sticky toffee pudding, Sicilian lemon meringue pie and Banoffi cookie crust cheesecake. There’s also Sunday set and a la carte Sunday menus, a children’s menu or for a lighter bite, a selection of generously filled baguettes served with a side salad, chunky chips, skinny fries or freshly made soup. You can eat in the dining room or bar area and the food is complemented by wines, gins, cocktails and real ales.
