Excellent meal Sunday 8th Match, food was outstanding I had the beef which was delicious, other diners had steak cooked to perfection. The service was excellent would happily recommend.

Our first visit and we were very impressed. Great food with the Butcher’s Choice Lamb, great staff who made us welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll certainly be back to try the Sunday Dinner!

Visited for a Sunday lunch as had been recommended. We were all thrilled that every bit of food was carefully, and tastily prepared, no boring boiled to death veg here. Yum

We (thankfully) booked a reservation and it was fairly busy. We took our dog and we were seated in the pet friendly area. We ordered a Sunday roast sharer with extra mash. The meats were all divine, the veg was delicious and genuinely very good. The mash was creamy, the carrots were massive and tasty, the roast potatoes tasted fantastic (though they had cooled a little more than anticipated). A little too much cabbage for me, but that's just me. The Yorkshire puddings were very large and were nice and crispy on the tops and outside and soft in the middle. As they should be. All of the servers were incredibly friendly and there were many alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options. The desserts were perfect and I must state that the treacle sponge was so light. I have to also mention that at the end of my meal I had a flat white and it was likely the greatest flat white I've had in years and I enjoy frequenting cafés whenever I get the option. I go sparingly here as it is quite a travel for me. But every time I do it is an absolute treat.

What can I say about The Copper Cow? It’s a fab spot for Sunday lunch, we regularly drive over from Manchester to enjoy the good food. The staff are very friendly and helpful the food is good quality and the portions and prices are very good. The pate and the ice creams are to die for. We must come and try the regular lunch menu, dying to try the corn beef hash. Give it a go, you won’t be sorry.
