About The Copper Pot

The Copper Pot enjoys a prime location in the heart of Cardigan on the site of the old Commercial Hotel. The property has re-opened with a smart and stylish interior design and a great little beer garden to make the most of the sunshine. The menu features reasonably priced dishes from around the world ranging from steaks, burgers and southern fried chicken to Chimichurri king prawns, chicken shawarma and oven-baked salmon. And the bar does a mean cocktail too as well as a selection of craft beers, wines and spirits. The Copper Pot is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday and lunch at weekends.

Saved the best place to eat in Cardigan to last and it didn’t disappoint. Cracking spicey Margherita along with buffalo cauliflower and Korean wings. Kids both went for the 6oz steaks with peppercorn and they loved it. My wife had a lovely chicken Cajun burger, whilst the Birra Burger special I had was sensational. Even better our little dog was made to feel welcome and the service from the Copper Pot team was excellent. Would love to come back.

We made a return visit after coming here last year on holiday. Food was delicious steak was cooked perfect. Friendly attentive staff. Well worth coming here.

We ate in the secret garden, lovely and peaceful place on a busy day. Food was amazing, cauliflower and prawns to start followed by the beef tacos and veggie quesadilla. Exceeded expectations! Staff all very polite even when busy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we will be back when next in the area. Thank you.

We had a really nice meal at The Copper Pot. The brisket burgers (on special) were really tasty, just a bit on the small side, but overall it still felt like a pretty premium place to eat. A couple of little things knocked it down slightly, though. The sauces coming in those little sachets felt a bit odd for somewhere like this- more like fast food vibes than a nicer restaurant. Service was also a bit slow when it came to drinks and getting the bill, and we ended up popping up to the bar a couple of times ourselves. Nothing major at all though, and we’d definitely go back. Just a few small tweaks and it’d easily be a 5/5 experience.

Rack of ribs lyfli chilli tempura hake cooked to perfection. Excellent cocktails & cheaper than Tenerife! Shared a biwtiffwl sticky toffee pudding for afters. Chatty friendly staff enjoyed speaking Wenglish. Only downside - they allow dogs.

The Copper Pot is a lovely place to eat. Six of us were dining and we all agreed that the meals we had were excellent . I had the flat iron steak cooked medium/rare and it was spot on . The food arrived at the table fresh and hot . My husband said that the onion rings, which were home made were the best he had ever had . Desserts were also delicious. It is also dog friendly and a real find . We will be calling back next time we are in Cardigan .
