When the restaurant first changed hands we took mother there for lunch, was good value cafe food.
However went there for a meal in the restaurant of Saturday night (7/5/11) and was very disappointed. The Staff although friendly weren't very well trained. The food was not very well cooked, cafe food at restaurant prices.
The two medium Sirloin steaks were black and hard, although I tolerated mine, the other one was replaced, but it was quite obvious the Chef has no idea about cooking steaks. The two Gammon stakes were just about edible but very salty. The owners need to change their meat supplier and perhaps just do cafe food which they seem capable of doing. The Chef was extremely rude when spoken to and his attitude does not encourage the return of patrons to their establishment.
