Lovely atmosphere and service was amazing. Unfortunately my friend ordered the chicken kebab and it came to the table uncooked...we had to send it back. Everything else was wonderful, but obviously uncooked chicken not good!

I've been to the Farmers Arms several times now, but this was the first time for Sunday lunch. I went with my sister and brother-in-law, who hadn't been before. We were all bowled over by the quality and portions of the lunch, and it was a pleasure for me to introduce them to the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service that I have come to expect!

Had a lovely 3 course meal today which was excellent value for money £10!!!! I had a lovely pate then giant Yorkshire pudding stuffed with lashings of beef and “homemade veg” mash and roasted potatoes AND the pièce de résistance the best stickie toffee pudding and custard I’ve had in a long time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this place. Definitely go back very soon x

I had another lovely meal at the Farmer's Arms yesterday. I have probably been close to 10 times and everytime I have been amazed at the price charged for the quality of the food received. Can not recommend too highly.

Booked to go on Easter Sunday for lunch as a family of 4 .We arrived at 12 and wete amongst the 1st people in...promptly asked what drinks we wanted and then food order taken. This is when the only issue happened...we ordered 1 started and then 3 Sunday roasts to follow and 1 parmo .We waited nearly an hour for the 1 starter, whilst tables who had arrived after us were getting their mains...when all the food did eventually arrive it was top notch apart from the yorkshire puddings which were abit cold and a really good price
