Had the most abominable cheese pie at this chippy yesterday, no cheese in it.

I have been a customer of Richardsons for a number of years now, perhaps after tonight it will be the last. When asked what i wanted, i informed the waitress i wanted a piece of Haddock and a portion of curry sauce, when asked if i wanted chips, i replied just give me 6 off the wifes plate, as i wont eat any more and it would be a waste. When my meal arrived, it had a large portion of chips on it. To say i was overfaced is an understatement. I tried to eat my meal but could`nt,so i left it. When asked by the waitress if everything was OK, i told her the reason(again) why i had left my meal,Her reply was the guy who plates up, was`nt going to count chips for anyone. I replied i had always thought the customer was right, her reply Not always. I would like to think that if i am spending the best part of £20 on a quick tea for my wife and I, i would get what i asked for, without someone looking from under the peak of their cap, with a Take it or leave it attitude. A shame because i rather like the food.

'Chippy tea' for the family costing almost £20. We are less than two minutes away by car and it was all cold and needed to be microwaved with the exception of the fish. Chips were cold, dry and hard, I'd say they'd been in the 'warmer' for too long. It was very disappointing, we all threw at least half in the bin.

We have recently moved from down South to Lancashire, I have tried a local Fish&Chip shop and was not pleased with the outcome,We found Richardsons through an advert this week and thought we would try it out...
I am so glad we did, marks out of Ten from us would be a massive TEN for Quality,Price and a timed Delivery thank you Richardson Fish Bar i will recommend you.

the chips were terrible as always, the gravy was foul and my brother's sausage was burnt to a crisp and rock hard to chew.
there's no excuse for this chippy to be so rubbish, i am furious. i have boycotted the place for years now but since my usual chippy was closed i had to settle for this place. it's bloody awful, i do not recommend it.

This is a fantastic shop! It holds a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the national Federation of Fish Friers which is the highest food award for the Fish and Chip Industry. You can be very certain that you will have great fish and chips and wonderful service in this shop.
