Stayed here the first weekend of September. Room was lovely and very comfortable. Can't fail to mention the shower which was excellent, full on from the mains not a piddly dribbly electric shower! Bliss! Menue looks fairly simple, but food is tasty and well presented. Breakfast choice is excellent and food is piping hot! Will definitely go again.

Would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for one night and the room was lovely, the views fantastic, the food excellent and the staff could not be faulted. Absolutely superb.

Stayed for a week recently at the Groes Inn, on a half board basis. We stay here regularly and can thoroughly recommend it. Great ambiance, excellent rooms, friendly and helpful staff and good food and wine. An excellent Inn for a base in North Wales, relaxing to return to after a days sightseeing and touring Snowdonia. We are returning again this year for another few days.

Visited The Groes Inn for a two night stay and from our arrival to departure, the staff could not do enough for you. The level of service was matched by the quality of the food and the wine. We decided to eat in the bar rather than the more formal restaurant but the menu was identical with great choices of meat and fish. The fillet steak was excellent! We have not been to this area of Wales for more than a dozen years and the friendly surroundings of the Gross Inn have ensured we will be returning a lot quicker!

Stayed for 2 nights DB&B in March. Excellent food in the restaurant each evening. Would recommend the specials of the day. Good fish. Well presented dishes. Shall be going again. Our first visit to the Conwy area.

There is wonderful scenery from every aspect of this superb inn, inside the rooms are calm and pretty. The quaint bar has a warm and welcoming ambience. The food is delicious and well presented with the service in the restaurant excellent. All in all an enjoyable stay.

The Groes Inn is a fab place to eat. I went with my husband and children (agend 4 and 1 ) and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were helpful and welcoming; the atmosphere was lovely and the food was excellent. We will recommend this place to our friends as an ideal place to stop en route to the Llyn Peninsula or on the way back home.

First time in the The Groes Inn for me this Sunday. Great pub, really great and warmth atmosphere in the stunning area of Conwy. I had the prime beef burger and let me tell you that it was one of the best burger that I've ever had. I strongly recommend the Groes Inn, you won't be disappointed.

The Groes Inn, nr Conwy is a beautiful cosy place to celebrate a birthday with lunch next to the warm fire. We travelled from South Wales to visit family and bought our dogs with us, so needed to find a nice pub which accepted 3 dogs while we ate lunch. As well as having a lovely meal, the dogs were greeted on arrival and even given treats to settle them while we enjoyed the traditional atmosphere and of course the food. We shall definitely visit again, and may even have an overnight stay as we now know the dogs will be welcome.

Called into The Groes Inn during a holiday to the beautiful area around Conwy hoping for a quick snack. We were made so welcome by the owners and were astounded at the warmth and decor of the pub, the log fire and the amazing menu. The food was delicious and we can't wait to return for a longer stay in the beautiful rooms, which we were shown. Well worth a visit.
