The Grouse has a nice relaxing atmosphere with very friendly staff. The food is excellent and all freshly cooked, there is a very good choice of food and wines available all at a reasonable price. The early bird menu is excellent value for money. I would very much recommended dining at the Grouse for a all round enjoyable evening.

this new restaurant has only been open three months but already is attracting a dedicated following. It has an absolutely wonderful atmosphere, freshly cooked food from a wide menu, a fine wine and liqueur list, and is reasonably priced. It is extremely comfortable with very friendly staff - nothing is too much trouble. If you want a relaxing and romantic evening try this lovely restaurant in Silsden, for me - it is sheer heaven!

In its new form as an Italian restaurant, The Grouse in Silsden offers a modern, well-designed environment run by friendly and attentive staff. Most importantly, The Grouse serves good quality, freshly prepared food from a varied a la carte menu plus attractive fixed-price early bird options. The wine list is well-balanced with the customary Italian coffees and smart liqueurs on hand. Our group of four enjoyed a relaxed evening in this up-market but sensibly priced venue that seems rapidly to be attracting a loyal following.

We ate at the grouse last night and initially food seemed ok however my partner has been up since 3 this morning with violent vomiting and sickness. BEWARE, he order a fish dish.
