Recently visited The Harrier, & what a difference from what i expected! The pubs had a bit of bad press from what I've heard, but rumours are NEVER even close to the truth, so thought I'd pay a visit! Hats off to the management & her team for the obvious hard work that goes into the place... Friendly, chatty bar staff, warm welcome, excellent selection of both drinks & food, superb service, fantastic home cooked meal.... REAL CHIPS!!! & on top of that, a recent addition of a new function room, decked outdoor area, kids play area, & best of all, a small petting farm/area.....2 piglets, a shetland pony, & 4 goats.... what a FANTASTIC idea!!! Cannot say enough about the place, other than, 'Rumours, bad publicity, gossip!?! I think its just that!'
Definitely a 'MUST VISIT' for the summer hols!

Hearty, home-cooked food, prepared to order, using locally sourced produce wherever possible! Excellent value for money, all served by friendly staff! Well recommended!
