On entering this restaurant it appeared pleasent and relaxed. We had to wait at the bar for our table but to our surprise were not offered a drink. When we were seated there was confusion over the table despite the restaurant having many empty tables and few dining. We ordered wine and later ordered a main course plus garlic bread to nibble first as we did not order a starter. Our wine came, then the garlic bread, which was just that,! We drank wine and nibbled the bread. after an hour we were told our meal is on its way...after another ten minutes waiting we decided to leave, On leaving we were again told our meal was on its way but by that time it was far too late.....we dutifully paid for our wine, which in retrospect should have been offered on the house, and left. This was now 9:15pm and we were famished. We have heard of slow cooking but this was ridiculous. We had no apology and they certainly took the money for the wine, which by the way we had not finished . The whole experience was very unprofessional and totally unacceptable.
