Poor experience yesterday for the bottomless brunch due to very poor service, waiting nearly 2 hours for food and drink orders taking over half hour and bar staff not clearing glasses quick enough the whole experience made the £44 per person not worth it. Also bar staff accusing us of not paying when the full bill had been paid Only positive was the atmosphere with the DJ - even he had to ask for a drink after being there for many hours on a warm day..shocking!

Disappointed. Was blatantly ignored by the barman at check in . After about 5 minutes he did check us in , told us they were full , quickly took our payment before telling us our room was above where the band is performing from 9 to 11:30 . Our room ( front room ) was extremely warm , unable to open the windows there was a fan available which only managed to circulate the warm air all night . The noise from the band was horrendous to the extent the bass vibrating through the floor . The bathroom was grubby . Stained sink , mould in the shower tray , mirror was filthy . There was no blind on the window which is directly in front of the shower cubicle . Would not recommend if expecting a peaceful nights sleep . Food was reasonable. Although at breakfast I had to search through all the mugs to find clean ones , they looked like they’d just been eaten swilled out with tea stains still in them . Grim really .

After a long wait at the bar, I was given the wrong cocktail and had to wait another 20 minutes for a replacement drink. We ordered burger & chips and gammon, egg & chips which took over an hour to arrive. The food was nice apart from the bits of shell left in the egg. The whole atmosphere seemed very chaotic. We would not eat here again.

Birthday meal for 6. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was very good, especially from a lady named Tash who ensured everything went smoothly. Would definately return and recommend .

Lovely food for a Saturday night. We shared the burger platter. Arrived on a wooden sharing board (could have done with plates!) chips were really delicious, coleslaw and onion rings too. Couple of cocktails and ciders. Well worth the £60 bill. Definitely recommend as both burgers were delicious. Special shout of to a worker named ‘Jack’ (tall, dark hair) constantly on the go working/glass collecting. Only issue was we found the main room with the music and live band too loud and we couldn’t hear ourselves chatting so had to move outside.

My daughter and baby granddaughter came for lunch on Sunday and we were given a good table, with room for the pram. We had some sharing plates which we really enjoyed. The staff were very pleasant and polite. All round a good experience

We have been here a few times and this time the food really wasnt great. Food was tepid and burgers were not good. Bun was soggy. It’s a shame as we have had amazing meals here

Good food but severely understaffed. I chose to go here as I had read good things about the gluten free options for Coeliacs. The food was very good and our waitress was really helpful. This was until it got busy then it all seemed to go wrong. I had to go and ask for dessert menus despite other tables being asked if they would like desserts. The menus never arrived despite asking again. In the end I just went and paid the bill as we weren’t going to wait any longer. Slightly disappointing as the food was really nice.

Bottomless brunch. Sorry wasn't sure i should review or not because I didnt want to seem negative but after speaking to a friend who owns a restaurant she said.... no truth no improvement? So........ If im honest this was actually a huge disappointment to other venues. The atmosphere- hugely lacking!! Only our table in and wasn't even background music for atleast the first half. Dark & Dingy....was how my friend described it :( The cocktail menu doesn't have a description and whilst the staff are happy to stand telling you the content- its time consuming. When theres loads coming in from the beer garden to the same bar.... its not ideal. The alcohol was mainly sours and they just taste like juice. Staff- The poor lad was ran ragged.... he was lovely but just understaffed. The food- sorry but when your asked how you want your steak and you say "medium" and they say " sorry chef says bleeding or burnt" your expectation becomes poor. However, im afraid the quality of the steak just wasn't worth eating. The chicken was dry and like Iceland content. The cheese dippers had no cheese and the rest not worth a mention. :( Sadly- having ate and drank here many of times over decades.......this really wasnt worth the time or money. Such a shame considering it was my friends first bottomless brunch as she lives abroad and hadnt seen me in 5yrs! The saving grace, however- was that after the brunch we had some real cocktails/ spirits then the band come on ( great band) the evening turned around. Just ashame my bank balance really had to pick up the slack from the brunch. Then Mds on the way home :( I will say however that the normal food and drink as well as the usual vibe ( not BB) is fab.
