This lovingly restored Warwickshire country pub at Great Alne reopened its doors in December 2021.

About The Mother Huff Cap

With the local community at its heart, this historic inn at Great Alne, near Alcester, sits on the old coaching route from Stratford to Bridgnorth. It has been restored to a beautiful  countryside pub and boasts rich and opulent décor, open fires and cosy snugs plus a stunning patio and easy-access car park. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, the menus at The Mother Huff Cap offer a mix of classic and contemporary pub dishes as well as fantastic pizzas and delicious cakes and hot drinks. Everything is prepared from scratch in-house using fresh, sensibly sourced ingredients. A takeaway menu is available too and there’s a premium selection of wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks with draught ales from local brewery Purity.

Visited for a family Birthday early on a Saturday evening The table was ready for us, great bar service, friendly waiting staff, food was exceptional, even the boss took our dessert order. Excellent all round. Will be back and will recommend to friends

Lovely to see the place open again for business. Really friendly serving team. Food and wine were excellent. It was quiet for a Friday but prefer that to it being too busy and loud. A lovely evening, thank you very much. We look forward to coming again soon.

Had a lovely lunch on Tuesday. Beefburgers was delicious. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food they had. Service was good. Friendly and helpful staff.
