I recently had a birthday party at the olive tree and was very impressed. It was for a party of 12 and the food was not only fantastic, there was a wide variety to choose from and there something for everyone. The service was fantastic and the staff were beyond pleasant. The food was also out quick and there wasn't one complaint made about anything. I would highly recommend this restaurant time and time again.

This is a fine restaurant and the staff deliver BUT the manager is somewhat misguided, When a very popular and industrious staff member was forced to leave due to work demands he determined not to pay her tips to her but to share them with "loyal staff members". Seems to be lacking in training and appreciation. Most restaurants guarantee to pay the service charges and tips to the people whose industry prompted the tipping. Not this time. Poor management call which should be noted. Staff don't sign a loyalty contract. They are soon laid off when bookings are light, I don't give tips for dispersal at the Manager's discretion - they are aimed at the waitress. waiter and kitchen staff who made the experience memorable, Mr Manager you owe someone an apology and some tips !!.

six of us went Wednesday evening. both food and wine were great. lots of choice on the latest menu.not lots of people in but it was freezing cold and icy underfoot. the staff were excellent, so friendly and attentive. i am going to book for a Christmas lunch with friends as soon as i finish typing this.

My boyfriend and I visited The Olive Tree Bistro and we felt totally spoilt, we were welcomed warmly and our every need was catered for, we really did feel special, only to look around the room to see every other table being treated exactly the same way! The front of house staff are fantastic, very attentive and wonderfully friendly yet professional! The food was phenomenal, it was like being in Italy and having a delicious home cooked meal presented to you with class and sophistication. I would recommend anyone to visit this little gem for a special occasion, although for such fantastic value for money you don't need much of an excuse!

We went with a family group on a Friday evening - what amazing value for money, good atmosphere and the food and service cannot be faulted. There is a choice for everyone and the 'anti pasti' is a lovely touch. We have already booked again.
