Just been for lunch with my elderly parents and what a little gem fantastic surroundings, brill service and amazing food. The sticky toffee pudding is homemade and by far the best I've ever tasted would highly recommend to anyone one 10/10

The Plate now opens in the evening at last! Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a fabulous menu and wine list, one of the Ribble Valley's gems and the perfect place for a party

Fabulous Mother's Day meal. There were 16 of us and we all had excellent food. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was great.

Difficult to find but well worth the journey. I have dined at the Plate on many occasions now, and have taken family & friends there, who, like me, have always enjoyed it. Breakfast is superb and lunch is of a high standard & well presented. My brother, who lives in Italy, and his Italian wife raved about the latte & cappuccino, especially the quality of the froth - apparently very important to Italians! Desserts & cakes are scrumptious. The service is very good, especially from Dino who always seems to have a smile on his face & is always happy to help. My only complaint is that it is rather a long drive out from Preston - wish the Plate could take over Huntleys!

Stunning! Living and working in the Ribble Valley I have always felt so lucky to be surrounded by such fabulous places to eat. The Plate offers just the right combination of fantastic food, brilliant service ( thanks Dinnoo!) and relaxing atmosphere....and their wine list is great!! The setting at Back-ridge farm just adds to the magic as far as I'm concerned...you can eat ....and then shop!! Keep up the high standard guys.

Enjoyed a really fabulous meal midweek and was so impressed I returned at the weekend to treat the family to a breakfast. Delicious!

A great find...food is fantastic and really good portions. Backridge Farm has some great shops too including melt and Wish Gifts...worth the trip!
