Went to the plough for my husbands birthday this Sunday. Booked well in advance for a table of 5. Was a bit disappointed to be given a table for 4 and have my 5 year old perched on the end. Additionally whilst I don’t mind pubs that accommodate animals I would prefer to be asked if I wanted to be seated near them as we were sat next to 2 large alsatians who kept brushing past our table and it wasn’t ideal for me personally. Food was absolutely beautiful bearing all that in mind and it wouldn’t stop me going back. I would just be a bit more specific when booking.

Best carvery around, everything is cooked to perfection. Love the roasties, and good choice of 5 meats. Great value for money at just £15.95 pp cheapest in the area. All the staff are really lovely, will be back soon.

Attended with 2 others and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Special mention to the young lad who served us who was polite, professional and put up with my banter. Defo be visiting again.

Visited to celebrate my mums 87th birthday and enjoyed the food and service. Staff member (a young lady) serving us was lovely and cheerful. I had the fish and chips but other members of the group had a variety of foods from a really nice menu. Would recommend visiting.
