About The Rivers Edge

The Rivers Edge is a pub, restaurant and holiday park on the banks of the River Honddu at Pandy, just off the A465 Abergavenny to Hereford road. The family owned venue has recently been refurbished both inside and out, with a smart new restaurant and bar area and outside pitches for motorhomes. The Edge restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday and on Sunday lunchtimes for their very popular Sunday Roast. The Rivers Edge also has regular live entertainment and an event space which is available for private hire.

Gorgeous food! Really tasty. Hubby reckons it’s the best burger he’s had. I had veggie lasagna and homemade slaw; so tasty! Definitely recommend!

Sunday lunch was amazing and plentiful, the waitresses were bubbly & attentive, we were in the dog friendly area which was very roomy and you can see that cleanliness is a priority.

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday and had the sharing lunch platter. It was absolutely gorgeous. Loads of different meats. The beef was to die for. It also came with Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower cheese, new potatoes, roast potatoes and a perfectly cooked selection of vegetables. Our only regret was that we could manage a dessert: Will definitely be back and would even consider the hour’s journey from home to eat there again. The staff were welcoming and they were very dog friendly. When I booked I explained that one of my dogs is very large and they provided us with a table with loads of space around us. Already shared with family. Can highly recommend. Next time we’ll probably stay on their campsite adjacent to the pub.
