About The Rivers Edge

The Rivers Edge is a pub, restaurant and holiday park on the banks of the River Honddu at Pandy, just off the A465 Abergavenny to Hereford road. The family owned venue has recently been refurbished both inside and out, with a smart new restaurant and bar area and outside pitches for motorhomes. The Edge restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday and on Sunday lunchtimes for their very popular Sunday Roast. The Rivers Edge also has regular live entertainment and an event space which is available for private hire.

What an amazing find. Booked to stay on the campsite for a weekend and booked for food as well. So glad we did, the food was absolutely amazing. The service was second to none, such a friendly owner and team. It was busy with a couple of big parties in and despite this we were served promptly and with fantastic meals. We will be back to eat and to camp.

Myself my husband and 94 year old father had lunch here. The staff were very helpful and gave us a table that was easily accessible. My father had the steak pie, he said it was the best he’d ever tasted. Me and my husband both agreed as our meals were just as nice. If ever you’re passing pop in, you won’t be disappointed.

Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Rivers Edge, pork belly was apparently brilliant and my Glamorgan sausages delicious. Good plentiful food, well priced.

A group of 10 of us visited for Sunday Lunch and every single one of us were very impressed with the place, the deco and the food. The beef was absolutely stunning just fell apart, the chicken was so tasty and the belly pork was the best they had tasted in a long while. Every component was top quality, the roast potatoes were insane and the gravy was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back.
