I recently visited the ship inn with my girlfriend for valentine's day, The selection on the menu was superb as well as the atmosphere. We had a great night staying to have drinks with the locals. I would recommend the ship inn every time due to its friendly staff and 2nd to none service. We will be visiting again very soon.

At first impressions The Ship Inn looks like a drinkers pub and to be honest it is as it has a great selection of real ales, with normally at least three guest ales as well as it normal beers.
But take a closer look and you will find probably the best restaurant food in Kenysham. I could not believe how good it was when we visited with some friends and I would return just for the Mushroom soup. The menu is a little bit mixed up, especially with small Tapas selection (which is excellent by the way) but overall brilliant. At the time of writing they have a deal on Tuesday and Wednesdays of two courses and a glass of wine of £12.
