Having been regular visitors to the lodge in the past year we have just sampled the Christmas fare menu and can say the whole party were highly delighted. The service,quality and amount of food on offer was first class. We have booked for Christmas day already and cant wait.

The Telmere lodge is the best English Restaurant in Chesterfield. I am going to have my b/day party there in April. They have an amazing chef and landlord. There service is always loyal. There food i give a 5/5. BEST FOOD EVER TASTED

service was second to none, nice friendly staff and the food.... well the menu looked great, we didn't have to wait long to sample the food, portion sizes were great and the food was fantastic.. we will be visiting again very soon ! highly recommended !

Recent change of ownership and name. Food very crude and disappointing. Claims to be home cooked but is clearly bought in. Meat was overcooked, vegetables swimming in water, sauces far too rich, lasagne thick & gloopy.The fruit salad was in syrup out of a tin and I had to ask for it to be replaced for one in juice only.It's cheap and it shows! If you're watching your weight or a diabetic give this place a wide berth.
