I ate here with my friend in June on a Saturday night.
The environment is very nice and the service faultless.
I was very impressed to see that the alcohol content of each wine was included on the wine list.
We enjoyed our mixed starter but we were both disappointed with our main courses of yellow curry. The sauce was just too sweet.
My friend has visited Thailand many times and said that the food was not authentic thai cuisine.
However, I would eat here again, in fact I am next week!

Cold food and terrible service!
I went with my partner here to eat at the buffet and I must say that the only thing that is worth eating here is the desert. The food was cold and when I asked the manager he told me that there was nothing he could do about it other then putting it in the microwave. I ate only a little plate because I sometimes suffer from gastro and because I did not wanted to be hungry again in one hour I decided to take two spring rolls with me. The manager came over and made a scene about it, which was quite unprofessional, and made us feel like we were robbing the place, with all the other customers listening. We finished our dinner quickly because we felt not welcome anymore, payed 28 pounds for 4 spring rolls and two very tiny (side) plates of cold food and one scoop of ice cream we shared. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

My wife and I dined at the Temple Thai in September. It was the evening of the Lantern Festival and we enjoyed a quiet table where we could watch the procession as well as enjoying the food. From starters to desserts the meal was a treat with a huge selection of dishes to try. We had never dined at a Thai restaurant before and now we wonder what held us back. Despite a packed restaurant the service was attentive and and the atmosphere relaxing and enjoyable. We will be back.

The nicest Thai food in the North West. LOVE the fish cakes and yellow curry.

I ordered takeaway tonight and it wasn't good. I used to be a regular before the restaurant opened and that was excellent, but the food tonight was greasy and cardboard ish (fish cakes)the spring rolls were greasy and overall it was oily, not a patch on their takeaways from home. So so disappointing , it used to be a real treat.

Since the restaurant opened we have visited 3 times, and each time we have had a wonderful meal. The food is always beautifully presented and a taste sensation. The staff are very pleasant and dressed in authentic Thai costume. We now only consider this restaurant in Ulverston when we want either a meal for ourselves, or when joining friends. You really must try it you will not be disappointed.
