I used to frequent The Three Crowns a number of years ago whilst lodging at John & Maries guest house next door..I was working at the Elf Terminal in those days... I have many fond memories of happy nights and lunch times at the Three Crowns I've been in Asia(Japan / Korea) for the last 7 years but hope to visit the area again one day. Names I remember were Agnes,Marilyn,Topsy and young John the great snooker player who worked with me. Also John and Marie and family who made me very welcome at their home. It was a good time for me.Please pass on my best wishes to all who remember me. Great area --great people and a great bar. I am now working in South Korea supervising the construction of the LNG ships for the Qatargas South Hook terminal at Milford so maybe I will get back ther yet.
