I am very fussy when it comes to eating out, this was a last minute booking. Three of us went out, the restaurant was not busy due to Rugby and half term. The decor was pleasant and the restaurant nice and open.
We had bread to nibble on which was lovely and fresh. Then a 12oz Sirloin steak on the bone with a peppercorn sauce which was not on the menu but they did without any fuss, chips ( which only bad comment be better if home cooked and not frozen ) mushrooms. The steak was a good size and perfectly cooked, my friend had lemon sole which again was a good size and looked delicious.
Pudding was a mini selection of the puddings on offer, not too keen on the bubble gum ice cream as I think this is more for kids not adults.
The service was good and all the waitresses friendly.
We highly recommend this restaurant.
