Wow. The treatment i got was amazing, the staff are a level of amazing you do not see very often. You should be proud of the staff you had on Saturday night, they made my experience even more memorable.

What an absolute gem of a find! The restaurant was cool and stylish but the service and food were off the scale! We felt so welcomed, were super impressed with the obvious passion and knowledge that the staff had about the food and the food itself was excellent. We decided it was probably the best Sunday lunch we’ve had out ever! They even went so far as to turn our leftover pigeon blankets into a stylish duck for us to take home! 100% recommend. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Sunday lunch for my wife and I was superb; the food was outstanding........tasty, plentiful (!) and so well presented. The staff were friendly, always smiling and also so knowledgeable about the food and how it was cooked. Other reviewers have suggested that you'll need a very large appetite to accommodate a starter, main course (roast) and a dessert..............they're not wrong. We chose from the "mains" only and that was more than ample. Delightful staff, great food and so good we've booked again. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous meal and service.

The 2 hares is a gem. Went on a Friday night and the rock bass in parsley butter sauce was excellent. The sauce was bursting with flavour and the fish beautifully cooked. The food is always excellent and the service is fantastic. Recommended

We went for Sunday lunch at The Two Hares and it was delicious and plentiful! You'll need a big appetite though if you go for the starters and/or afters as the main was more than enough for us. Service was great and the quality certainly justified the price we paid.

Sunday roast at The Two Hares is ALWAYS superb, the menu seems to have recently been expanded to include more tasty options. But there's so much more to this place. Paul Sykes (head chef) is my local food hero and his cooking is incredible. It's worth visiting at any other time to see his versatility. As the restaurant evolves through various refurbishments, it continues to be refined into a more pleasant dining experience. The recent addition of skylights has completely transformed the atmosphere for the better. The front of house staff also continue to get better and better. Especially Nadia with her infectious enthusiasm and positive personality. I know I have local bias, but I don't care, it's my favourite place to eat in Glossop.
