About The Underground

The Elephant Underground opened in 2024 adding an exciting new location to Shrewsbury’s dining and nightlife scene. This cocktail bar and Mexican restaurant is housed in spectacular converted cellars just off Mardol and is open Tuesday to Saturday with a late bar until 1am at weekends. The menu, which is entirely gluten free, offers loads of choice with Small Plates, Tacos, Loaded Nachos, Wings & Fried Chicken and Messy Fries. There’s also Bottomless Brunch every Friday and Saturday from 12 noon to 6pm and a regular Quiz Night and Open Mic night.
