What a find. We ate here twice on our holiday & we were stopping at Porthleven. Fab food a warm welcome, we already think of them as friends. Fish night to die for. A place we will be going back to for years to come. cannot rate it highly enough.

Great restaurant ... a perfect way to start the day is to order the light breakfast (a bargain if you're there before 11.00am !) ... then, if it's a Friday, enjoy the fish and chip evening meal (but you must book ... demand is heavy so I'm informed) which was just delightful ... I recommend it thoroughly and am looking forward to going back to stay in Coverack next year again ... delightful restaurant, lovely people, great service, brilliant food ... I'm hooked (apologies for the fishing pun !) ... thank you The Wave ...

Where to start ? I had a sandwich of turkey & bacon with a side salad & chips ,the bread was as soft as a pillow about 1/2inch thick & so tasty the chips to die for lovely REAL chips done to a turn , no grease on them & as I have said done to perfection . Hubby had fish chips & peas ,I pinched some of his fish it just melted in my mouth ,bliss . The best fish & chips on the planet. It was worth the 300 mile journey from Manchester just to have such an unforgettable meal! We enjoyed our meal & visit to The Wave in Coverack that we have booked a weeks holiday there in September, staying in Coverack not The Wave , Its not a B & B .We look forward to another meal or meals at The Wave.
