About Thyme
Thyme at Poulton’s Teanlowe Centre is a contemporary café bar and bistro that opened in 2020 on the site of the former Prezzo. There is a main restaurant and a Conservatory area as well as outside seating and fully retractable glass doors which add to the bright and airy feel. Thyme is open all day every day from 9am serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea plus there’s evening opening from Wednesday to Saturday with a new Prix Fixe two-course menu available. Typical starters include French onion soup and Roquefort garlic mushrooms whilst mains range from Confit duck leg with fondant potato, celeriac puree, sauteed greens, glazed carrot and a red wine and five spice jus to Beef Bourguignon, Wild mushroom risotto, Fish and chips and Thyme’s 30-day-aged Signature steaks. With a selection of stone-baked pizzas, burgers and salads too, there’s something on the menu for everyone, including vegan and vegetarian choices. The wine list has 20-plus bins to choose from and on the first Thursday of the month Thyme runs a Jazz Dinner.
