We visit this excellent restaurant regularly as the combination of spices is really excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasing . It's not you're everyday Indian restaurant as the background and music are clearly classic 80's and 90's. The maitre'd really knows his food and fine wines so you can ask for a description of any food or wine item and get an intelligent explanation, sadly lacking in most other Indian restaurants. I'd say it's an up market establishment with excellent food and service.

Nice food, superb selection of drinks in fact the best i've ever seen all at a good price. Not purely a veggie restaurant but meat can be ordered off the menu and is extremely good. All in all a very good dining experience and highly recommended.

IF YOU HAVE KIDS, PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AS THEY LEAVE OPEN A DOOR WHICH OPENS ON TO A BUSY FOOT PATH AND A ROAD.it supposed to be a fire door, but they don't care and didn't respond to my request to close the door as kids safety was at rink.

I visited this restaurant for a buffet lunch today, and it was very disappointing to say the least.
We were waiting from 12 noon until 1.45pm for th food to arrive on the trolley. Maybe thus was a ploy to get us to buy more drinks from the bar?
When the food eventually came out, it disappeared within 5 minutes, and the food trays were lefy empty for ages before being refilled. Some customers walked out!
The food wasn't anything special, very bland!
We will not be visiting the Tulsi again, we will stick with the restaurants we know provide good quality food and service.

For my birthday my friends took me to this delightful Indian Vegetarian Restaurant and I had a great treat. The buffet meal was a real eye-opener such a vast array of dishes: starters, main course and deserts. I particularly liked the Manchurian Dumplings, the Idlis, the Sambar, the little puris, the black bean curry and the chick pea chole. I also had the delicious mango lassi and the Gajar halwa. I had seen the restaurant in my walks around Bradford and wondered what it was like. Now that I know, I shall certainly come again.

We had another most enjoyable day in Bradford today. We went to the Senior Screening of the entertaining film, It's Complicated at the Pictureville Cinema in the morning. Afterwards we made a bee-line for the Tulsi for a most delicious meal of bhel, masala dosa and masala utthapam.

We braved the cold and snow to venture to the Pictureville Cinema in Bradford to see the very entertaining film, 'Me and Orson Welles'. After which our footsteps seemed to draw us here to Tulsi for our favourite meal - Bhel puri, Masala Dosa and Masala Utthapam. It all added up to make a great day out.

What a great way to end the year - have lunch here in Tulsi! The Bhel, Masala Dosa and the Masala Utthapam were the right combination creating a perfect meal to savour, one of the many we have had at this great restaurant. We shall be back to repeat this experience in 2010.

Today has been another wonderful day. Warm, bright, sunny autumn morning, an enjoyable visit to the Pictureville Cinema to see the screening of the delightful computer-generated animation film, 'Up', then coming here for the perfect meal - bhel, massala dosa and masala utthapam. A most glorious combination that is hard to improve upon.

We brought our visitor from India here for a meal. Being vegetarian he was delighted to find an exclusively vegetarian restaurant situated right in the centre of Bradford. We had the evening buffet meal. Our visitor was astonished at the number and variety of dishes on offer for the price. He estimated that the cooking was on a par with that offered by the best restaurants in India. He was very impressed by the spaciousness of the restaurant and the beautiful view offered by the large windows. He has awarded it five stars.
